Republic of Ireland finished 10th in the World Netball Championships in 1991, with Northern Ireland 12th out of 20 entrants. In 1995 Northern Ireland finished 18th and Republic of Ireland 25th out of 27 countries.

Northern Ireland finished in 7th place of 14 in the World Netball Championships in Singapore, 1983. In the Seventh Tournament in Glasgow, Scotland, in 1987, Northern Ireland finished joint 10th and Republic of Ireland finished 15th of 17 countries that entered.

Report

Northern Ireland finished 8th in the third World Netball Championships in Kingston, Jamaica in 1971 and 9th in the fourth tournament in Auckland New Zealand in 1975. In 1979 Republic of Ireland entered for the first time and finisged 10th in Section A, the top Section and Northern Ireland finished 17th Overall, in Section B. The 1979 Tournament was held in Port of Spain, Trinidad from 12-20 August 1979.
